Rules of Play

  1. Observe all rules of the course you are playing.

  2. No mulligans.

  3. Lost ball:
    Drop a replacement ball as close as possible to where the ball was lost. A one stroke penalty applies.

  4. Ball out of bounds.
    Drop a replacement ball as close as possible to where the ball went out of bounds. A one stroke penalty applies.

  5. Water hazard.
    If the intent was to cross the hazard, then drop the ball across the hazard (nearer the green), taking stance plus one club length. Otherwise, (as on a tee shot on Deer Brook #17 or River Bend #17), drop on tee side of the hazard. A one stroke penalty applies in either case.

  6. Search for lost balls; Maximum of 5 minutes.

  7. Maximum number in a playing group is 4 people.

  8. Maximum score on a hole is double bogey.

  9. You may move your ball one club length no closer to the hole through the green. A ball in a hazard or bunker may not be moved except with the application of the appropriate penalty. Note that a ball dropped under Rules 3, 4 and 5 may then be moved after the drop.

  10. A minimum of 24 scores must be turned in to qualify as an official round.

  11. A putt of 24 inches or less is conceded as “good.”

  12. Golfers must arrive in time to be at their carts 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tee time. The goal is to have everyone on the tees at the scheduled time. Entries will be cut off 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

  13. Guests’ scores do not count toward the minimum requirement.
